Jehu

1. Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.: 这样，耶户在以色列中灭了巴力。

19. Jehu said, 'Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.' Then he had him ride along in his chariot.: 耶户说，你和我同去，看我为耶和华怎样热心。

20. The horseman rode off to meet Jehu and said, 'This is what the king says:' Do you come in peace? '.: 骑马的就去迎接耶户，说，王问说，平安不平安。

21. And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.: 耶户与他列祖同睡，葬在撒玛利亚。他儿子约哈斯接续他作王。

22. Elisha knew it was God's timing, He sent a faithful swift servant to Ramoth to anoint Jehu king over Israel.: 以利沙知道神的时间到了，差遣一位忠心快速的仆人，到拉末去膏耶户作以色列王。

23. And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.: 耶户说，若合你们的意思，就不容人逃出城往耶斯列报信去。

24. Jehu went in and ate and drank. 'Take care of that cursed woman,' he said, 'and bury her, for she was a king's daughter.': 耶户进去，吃了喝了，吩咐说，你们把这被咒诅的妇人葬埋了，因为她是王的女儿。

25. Jehu said to Bidkar, his chariot officer, 'Pick him up and throw him on the field that belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite.: 耶户对他的军长毕甲说，你把他抛在耶斯列人拿伯的田间。

26. Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu.: 将来躲避哈薛之刀的，必被耶户所杀。躲避耶户之刀的，必被以利沙所杀。

27. So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah was come down to see Joram.: 于是耶户坐车往耶斯列去，因为约兰病卧在那里。犹大王亚哈谢已经下去看望他。

28. Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet.: 又膏宁示的孙子耶户作以色列王，并膏亚伯米何拉人沙法的儿子以利沙作先知接续你。

29. What great things Jehu could have had done for God if only his zealousness had been directed to glorify Him and walk in his ways.: 如果耶户能用同样的热心来荣耀上帝、行祂的道，他一定可为上帝作更大的事。

30. Thus Zimri destroyed all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke against Baasha by Jehu the prophet.: 心利这样灭绝巴沙的全家，正如耶和华藉先知耶户责备巴沙的话。
