Jephthah

1. Jephthah sent back messengers to the Ammonite king.: 耶弗他又打发使者去见亚扪人的王。

15. saying: "This is what Jephthah says: Israel did not take the land of Moab or the land of the Ammonites.: 对他说:"耶弗他如此说:'以色列人并没有占据摩押地和亚扪人的地。

16. But Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "Did you not hate me and drive me out of my father's house?": 耶弗他回答基列的长老说：“从前你们不是恨我、赶逐我出离父家吗？”
