To investigate the mechanisms for cytopathic effect(CPE)of herpes simplex virus type 2(HSV-2)in ECV304 endothelial-like cells,RT-PCR and indirect immunofluorescence were used to detect HSV-2 infection.
结果表明,血管内皮样细胞ECV304感染HSV-2后12~24h即可检测到潜伏相关转录体基因表达;感染后1~2d即可出现明显的细胞病变,提示HSV-2可感染ECV304细胞,并在其中活化复制,诱导ECV304细胞出现细胞融合和破裂死亡。
