180 Hi-Line Brown hens were exposed to red (660 nm, R), green (560 nm, G) and blue (480 nm, B) light from light emitting diode (LED) lamps and incandescent light (400~700 nm, W) for19 to 52 weeks and to study the monochromatic light effect on the egg size, eggshell index, long and short length of egg and eggshell quality in this experiment.
