1.For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
因为你这样行，就是把炭火堆在他的头上。耶和华也必赏赐你。
2.And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
耶和华对摩西说，你要向以色列人这样说，你们自己看见我从天上和你们说话了。
3.But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes shalt thou offer sacrifices. and shalt do all that I command thee.
只可在上主由你一支派中所选定的地方，奉献你的全燔祭，行我所规定的一切。
4.And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.
21：30他说，你要从我手里受这七只母羊羔，作我挖这口井的证据。
5.Thou shalt say to him: We were bond men of Pharao in Egypt, and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand.
你应对你的儿子说：我们曾在埃及作过法郎的奴隶，上主却以大能的手将我们由埃及领了出来。
6.Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
你当等候耶和华，遵守他的道，他就抬举你，使你承受地土。恶人被剪除的时候，你必看见。
7.But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head.
所以，「你的仇敌若饿了，就给他吃，若渴了，就给他喝；因为你这样行就是把炭火堆在他的头上。」
8.And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
你们要归我作祭司的国度，为圣洁的国民。这些话你要告诉以色列人。
9.Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.
不可欺压你的邻舍，也不可抢夺他的物。雇工人的工价，不可在你那里过夜，留到早晨。
10.For thou shalt heap hot coals upon his head, and the Lord will reward thee.
这是将火炭堆在他头上，上主也必要因此还报你。
