1.and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?
耶和华的话临到他说，以利亚阿，你在这里作什么。
2.And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
神对约拿说，你因这棵蓖麻发怒合乎理吗。他说，我发怒以至于死合乎理。
3.Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
王的话本有权力，谁敢问他说，你作什么呢。
4.And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
有声音向他说，以利亚阿，你在这里作什么。
5.When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman.
百夫长听见这话，就去见千夫长，告诉他说，你要作什么。这人是罗马人。
6.Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?
人子阿，以色列家，就是那悖逆之家，岂不是问你说，你作什么呢。
7.And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.
18：17摩西的岳父说，你这作的不好。
8.His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest .
3耶稣的弟兄就对他说，你离开这里上犹太去吧，叫你的门徒也看见你所行的事。
9.And after the sop, then entered Satan into him. Jesus therefore saith unto him, What thou doest, do quickly.
他吃了以后，撒但就入了他的心。耶稣便对他说：「你所做的，快做吧！」
10.Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
18他活着的时候，虽然自夸为有福，（你若利己，人必夸奖你）。
