1.according to the Bible, one of the ten rules of behavior called the Ten Commandments that God gave people to obey
1.And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.
神的命令就是叫我们信他儿子耶稣基督的名，且照他所赐给我们的命令彼此相爱。遵守神命令的，就住在神里面，神也住在他里面。
2.Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
耶稣见许多人围着他，就吩咐渡到那边去。
3.And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.
于是以色列人照耶和华所吩咐的，从自己的地业中，将以下所记的城邑和城邑的郊野给了利未人。
4.And now I ask you, lady, not as writing a new commandment to you but that which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.
夫人啊，我现在请求你，我们要彼此相爱；我写给你的并不是一条新诫命，乃是我们从起初就有的诫命。
5.No wonder Jesus told his disciples that there was a new commandment He was giving to them . . . and it was to love one another.
难怪主耶稣对门徒说祂要给他们一条新命令，就是要彼此相爱。
6.And all the children of Israel came to him: and he gave them in commandment all that he had heard of the Lord in mount Sinai.
以后全以色列子民也来到他跟前，他把上主在西乃山上同他所说的一切，都吩咐了他们。
7.It models the locus of our anxiety, but, let us note, only after the desire of the Other has taken the form of a commandment.
它模拟我们焦虑的轨迹。但是让我们注意到，只有在大它者的欲望形成一个命令的形式之后。
8.And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh : and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai .
