1.6For there shall be a day, in which the watchmen on mount Ephraim, shall cry: Arise, and let us go up to Sion to the Lord our God.
因为终有一天,守望的人要在厄弗辣因山上喊说:起来,让我们上熙雍去,到上主我们的天主那里去!
2.And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
他给次子起名叫以法莲(就是使之昌盛的意思),因为他说,神使我在受苦的地方昌盛。
3.The watchman of Ephraim [was] with my God: [but] the prophet [is] a snare of a fowler in all his ways, [and] hatred in the house of his God.
以法莲曾作我神守望的;至于先知,在他一切的道上作为捕鸟人的网罗,在他神的家中怀怨恨。
4.And Ephraim went in to his wife, and she conceived and bore a son. And he called his name Beriah, because disaster had befallen his house.
以法莲与妻同房,他妻就怀孕生了一子,以法莲因为家里遭祸,就给这儿子起名叫比利亚。
5.And they buried him in the land of his inheritance, at Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.
以色列人将他葬在他地业的境内,就是在以法莲山地的亭拿西拉,在迦实山的北边。
6.What can I do with you, Ephraim? What can I do with you, Judah? Your love is like the morning mist, like the early dew that disappears.
主说:以法莲哪,我可向你怎样行呢?犹大啊,我可向你怎样做呢?因为你们的良善如同早晨的云雾,又如速散的甘露。
7.The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
以法莲的子孙,带着兵器,拿着弓,临阵之日,转身退后。
8.But Ephraim has bitterly provoked him to anger; his Lord will leave upon him the guilt of his bloodshed and will repay him for his contempt.
以法莲大大惹动主怒,所以他流血的罪必归在他身上。主必将那因以法莲所受的羞辱归还他。
9.There will be a day when watchmen cry out on the hills of Ephraim, 'Come, let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.
日子必到,以法莲山上守望的人必呼叫说:起来吧!我们可以上锡安,到耶和华我们的上帝那里去。
10.For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
日子必到,以法莲山上守望的人必呼叫说,起来吧。我们可以上锡安,到耶和华我们的神那里去。
