1.Whenever the day came for Elkanah to sacrifice, he would give portions of the meat to his wife Peninnah and to all her sons and daughters.

2.And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

3.And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word.
他丈夫以利加拿说、就随你的意行罢、可以等儿子断了奶.但愿耶和华应验他的话。
4."Do what seems best to you, " Elkanah her husband told her.
