The governing equations of a beam with electro-magnetic constrained damping layers(EMCLD)are derived based on Hamilton Principle and simulated,which indicates the control current and thickness of damping layer how to affect the control results,and verifies EMCLD with simply configuration,reasonable actuated manner and low energy consumption,to be effective for active vibration control.
