化学性质:常温下非常稳定,但长时间煮沸会部分发生分解,游离出邻苯二甲酸酐。用铜铬氧化物作催化剂,270℃于氢气流中发生分解,生成丁醛、邻二甲苯、丁醇、2-甲基环己基甲醇、六氢化苯二甲酸二丁酯等。

2.本品毒性低微,动物经口LD50平均为8g/kg。有些人接触本品可能对皮肤过敏。空气中最高容许浓度为5mg/m3。英、德、美、法、日、意等国均允许用于接触食品的塑料制品。设备应密闭,操作人员应穿戴防护用具。
